Stories & actionable tips, great listen!
I first heard of the Radical Candor concept through my fantastic manager, who saw Kim Scott at a conference. Since then, I've been reading her blog and, most recently, subscribed to this new podcast, which I would recommend to anyone who's in a managerial or lead position. It's a great listen because episodes are long enough to fit into your commute: no need to find an hour of time on your busy schedule to listen to this one. The real-life stories that Scott and Laraway tell illustrate the ideas that they share, and it's always refreshing to hear about actual stories that really happened that can help a manager get ideas of what to do, and what to avoid. Episodes end with actionable tips (Called Radical Candor Checklists), and that's always a good thing, especially when you're a new manager and there are so many things that need fixing that you just don't know when to start. I just finished listening to the episode titled "Careers Conversations" and I'm very excited to put some of those tips to practice with my team soon. Thank you and keep it up!Read full review »

Each episode is brief but full of great ideas and lessons. I take down at least 2-3 items per episode to make...Read full review »
