“This show is a bummer. I love the tv shows they talk about. I love the hosts other shows. I like the hosts. And I tried really hard to listen to this. I listened to the first ep and felt like the first time I saw Phantom Menace. I tried really hard to convince myself it was good. Halfway through ep 2 and I stopped it and unsubscribed.
They know very little about the shows. Most of the observations are based on their memories only to conclude with "wasn't that weird?" Pair that with it having been hyped for months and it already starts with ad reads right off the top. The half assed feel of this show mixed with ads right out of the gate just makes it feel it as and out for money as the weird tv shows of the 90s they are joking about.
