Improvements necessary.
I really wanted to like this podcast and I think it could be great with some adjustments. The deeper dissection into the criminal mind is very interesting and the substance of the podcast is great. However, the manner in which Jim and Laura debate with Lisa is often difficult to listen to. The Steven Avery case presents issues that require arguments from all angles so that issues can properly be discussed. It is a shame that whenever Lisa would present an idea or perspective that differed from Jim or Laura's that they would cut her off, or almost put her down because she didn't have their 'levels of insight after so many years of experience'. There is certainly a better way to debate and discuss these topics without belittling a persons point of view or dismissing her ideas as the views of someone who isn't as qualified. That being said, I believe that if the hosts were able to debate and discuss in a more respectful manner that the podcast has potential to be great.Read full review »
