Most impactful podcast I have ever listened to
If I could give Corey 100 stars, it still wouldn’t be enough. For most of my adult life I have been in reasonably good shape, but it was always a physical and psychological struggle. I’ve been a listener for 4 months, and Corey’s knowledge, demeanor and approach has helped me change my brain so that now the process is enjoyable, fulfilling and helps me enjoy every piece of my day. I feel a little like I was given a special power where now my brain and body are working for me, not against me. I watch other ppl/friends who have not adopted this approach, who still rely on restrictive diets, excessive exhausting workouts that they subconsciously dread, and sheer willpower. This was me for 20 years. Now that I am above it and can diagnose it, it’s obvious to see in others. I wish I could force them to listen to Corey. The % of episodes that have been impactful to me is 100. Every time I listen to one where I know somebody who can benefit, I share the link. But funny enough, ppl don’t always listen. They’d prefer to over eat, and try to make up for it with a workout they dread, just to get back to even….and not enjoy life in the process. So to anybody who struggles with the mental side of weight mgmt, please give Corey a chance. I don’t know if it will change your life the same way it did mine, but ask yourself, “what if this actually does work?”. Corey is a wonderful person and somebody we can all learn a lot from about being a man, a partner, a father, a friend and a mentor….and he knows a thing or two about nutrition and fitness:)
