This is the only podcast I check for to see if the new episode has dropped yet. It’s the only podcast that I care if I miss something if I have to do something else while I’m listening ~ I rewind it. It’s well done, well told, a great mix of real life and a touch of drama to make you feel like...Read full review »

Another amazing Noiser production. John Hopkins as always, brilliant! Amazing range of stories and told at a great pace. Not rushed, and not dragged out. Keep up the amazing work!

Interesting stories, great pacing. The host’s tone and accent make for great storytelling… I could listen to him read a phone book and be totally delighted.

Another great podcast from noiser! Highly recommend this show to anyone who enjoys stories of humans displaying a fight for life and the rescue teams and personnel around the globe who risk it all to save another’s life.

First I have to acclaim their ratio of narrater speaking time, description from the person being interviewed and suspenseful music. The stories are great and John Hopkins voice is dull but in a comforting way - it brings clarity to the severity of the podcast. It fits perfectly. Entertaining and...Read full review »

This podcast is incredible, along with all of the other instalment’s from Noiser. Very well produced ,written and narrated. Each episode is captivating and quite often hard to believe is real! I hope they bring out many more episodes in the future

This podcast is brilliantly crafted with a refreshingly simple format. Each episode stands alone, with no need to follow up on previous stories, making it easy to dip in and out. But what truly sets it apart for me is John Hopkins’ voice—captivating and perfect for storytelling. Absolutely love it

I’ve been on holiday in Greece for the last three weeks. I didn’t want to listen to my usual true crime podcasts, I found Real Survival stories and have binge listened to nothing else. So nice to have positive stories for a change. Highly recommended!!!

This is becoming my most anticipated podcast. Great!!

The narration is incredible but the writing is what sets it apart from the others. Every story is well thought out and put together and there are some episodes that stick with me like the family boat trip around the world or the rattlesnake mine. Worth the subscription price just for this show.

This podcast is interesting, but they want to talk about global warming so much it becomes a very annoying.

As a noisier connoisseur and a fan of anything this narrator releases, there’s not a doubt in my mind this show will see the same level of success. Who doesn’t love a gripping tale of survival? Would love to hear about the Tongan castaways through your lens. Updating to 3 stars because host does...Read full review »

these moron ‘adventurers’ get rewarded for poor judgement and risking the safety of the rescuers. Plus the emotional abuse caused to friends and family Do they ever pay for the expense of their rescues $$ Also why are ALL the episodes in reverse order??
Lame Oh.. via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/10/24
Great podcast. Clear, concise storytelling. However, some of the actual situations are very troubling in the fact they never should have occurred. The man who kayaked around the British Isles and the couple who entered the Grand Canyon (even though the entrance was closed) through an...Read full review »

The phone tap/voip sound quality of the subjects takes away from the great production and feel of this podcast. It could be a 10/10, but the quality really takes away from it.

Too late to run the only bad episode: how utterly stupid can one family be??! Ignoring a whole night of fire/smoke approaching… handing out ice creams… leaving the kids with NO SHOES ON in the middle of a forest fire!!! Leaving the cars full of petrol parked next to the house!!!! Im glad they all...Read full review »

People are free to say why they think fires are more common now. However to blindly say that climate change is the reason is being a bit pessimistic. Forests are very poorly managed especially in the United States. Billion dollar budgeted agencies with Land Management in their title can’t be...Read full review »

I lOVE this podcast so interesting but a little sad 5stars .

The too late to run episode annoyed me so much. Wild fires have been happening since the dawn of time. Yapping global warming bullshit. Selfish mother making the dad get toys whilst fire is close to the house. Other than that episode I love the show.

I can’t get enough of this show! I generally listen to it before bedtime. Unbelievably it helps me sleep! Sometimes I have to listen to it a second time to make sure I’ve got the ending.
Father Teddy via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/05/24
I mean… the first few episodes were interesting but now seems like the material is mostly listeners (guys) supplying stories about when they went mountain biking/hiking/climbing/caving in inhospitable places and errr….needed rescue. So boring. Same formula time and time again. Much more...Read full review »

Love the variety and firsthand interviews of the survivors. Would it be possible to add some experts at the end giving us pointers for the best ways to handle ourselves if we encounter these emergencies? It would lower the anxiety that always builds up while listening.
