Not actual debates
I have downloaded three episodes of this podcast expecting to hear a debate, but I've been disappointed each time. As far as I can tell, the actual debates are not available. Rather, it appears to be William Craig talking about a debate or a conversation he had with someone. In "Richard Dawkins Meets Dr. Craig" (1/16/11) it appears to be nothing but Craig simply recalling a conversation with Dawkins and then giving his commentary on a debate in which they both participated. Why can't we hear the actual debate? Similarly, there are two separate podcasts in regard to a debate with Richard Carrier (3/25/09; 4/2/09) in which Craig spends a total of about 57 minutes simply recalling topics from the debate and talking about Carrier's insufficient arguments. Again, where is the actual debate? If the actual debates are available and I'm not seeing them, please let me know. Otherwise, in regard to the episodes to which I have listened, this appears to be a podcast in which Dr. Craig simply gives his side of debates, the actual recordings of which he doesn't make available to listeners. A participant in a debate simply giving his side of the argument without offering a recording of the actual debate is obviously not at all helpful to those interested in hearing both sides.Read full review »

Dr. William Lane Craig is arguably the premiere apologist of the 21st century. The topics are relevant, the answers are profound, and the logic is airtight. This is a quality show from a man who had a part in my return to ministry.

I downloaded the podcast on Dawkins, thinking it would be a conversation w Richard but it was just this guy talking about Dawkins, and what he had to say was boring and self promoting

Absolutely amazing how arrogant this self proclaimed scholar is. He suggests that his fellow believers aren't smart enough to defend their own views, so he needs to step in and defend against any questions that should arise. He tells his layman to avoid thinking for themselves. His attacks on...Read full review »
