Super helpful!
I’m finding this very helpful. I happen to be blessed with a very good marriage but I’m still finding this beneficial as I grew up up in a Christian-domestically violent/abusive home with all the “women submit and serve the man” mentality trained in. My parents were abusive to eachother and to my siblings and I. I now have two daughters and am determined with God’s help to be a chain breaker. This is very helpful for me to unlearn so many things about marriage and the woman’s role that were hammered into my head growing up and I’m learning how to have a better marriage and relationships in general through the stories and counsel. It’s also drawing me closer to God as I realize His true heartbeat for the oppressed and opening my eyes to the horrors some people deal with. Thank you so much for this podcast!
