Thanks from a husband
The marriage categories of disappointing, difficult, and destructive were eye-opening. I felt a sense of freedom acknowledging that being in a disappointing and/or difficult marriage is universal, and is not a legitimate cause for shame or condemnation as a failure. I have to face that I have idolized my wife to the extent of being convinced that my joy and fulfillment depends on her. I have some re-wiring to do. I have hope this might result in me being a better husband. Thanks.
