Retro? Check. RPG? Check.
Of all the retro-X (let X = some old game type) podcasts out there, this is, quite possibly, the only one in which the 'casters actually play the games they are reviewing in the same decade in which you're listening to it. What this means for you is that the review/overview/whatever-you-want-to-call-it is based on fresh, empirical experience (rather than mere nostalgia, which is easily clouded by the fondness for 'the good ol' days.'). They play the games, and give honest feedback--if it's a bad game, they don't harp on it. If it's good, they'll let you know. The "I'm a frustrated gamer and I though that this game sucked because I always claim that the game sucked" podcasts are played out. These guys are the wave of the future.
