Listen to the podcasts to get me through the chores of the day. Love it - the variety of guests, the honesty that comes out, the occasional (!😉) depth - great. You never know what you’re going to get.

Just found this little gem. Just listened to the Limmy one - hilarious!

Rich, I am a long time listener and will continue... but. You need to really think about interviewing structure. You seem to prefer a discussion which I get but when it struggles it can be a bit painful. Case in point Paxman (noted you referred to it in the intro). At times you fall into a...Read full review »

Used to be funny, now utter garbage, self indulgent virtue signalling and as funny as roadkill. No offence Herring the Nonce

Je trouve que cette podcast est très chic.

My friend suggested this podcast to me, and at first I was a bit phased by how many episodes there were, but Richard is hilarious and every show has been brilliant. I have now listened to every single episode from the very beginning. Very funny and very interesting podcasts which I highly...Read full review »

Found this during lockdown, and am still working my way through the old ones as well as listening to the new ones. Funny, interesting and sometimes thought provoking (in a weird way!)

Sindhu Vee not really selling herself. Surprisingly not very funny for a stand up in this podcast. I’m sure she’s better live

I think I stumbled across this podcast because James Acaster was on it. I have no real knowledge of Richard Herring’s career but RHLSTP is often laugh out loud funny.

Great debates by rich folk on the correct way to load a dishwasher and which elite university is better.

I envisioned driving at 79!miles per hour down the M1 mooning the overtaken Herrings, *damned autocorrect, Herring, having drawn a tick on said sodentry shouting “Dyou want it, do you? Do you want a moon or ass tick? Think carefully my fine friend, that’s right do you want the moon or ass tick if...Read full review »

This podcast re-ignited my love of podcasts which has been a on/off relationship since 2008 and after listening to Richard interviewing Adam Buxton I have been a fully committed partner to podcasts since 2017. Rich is King. This podcast led me to so many other podcasts which I love and has...Read full review »

One of the best podcasts you will hear. Unfortunately it relies on moribund references to in-jokes. Herring wants the moon on a stick on this mock interview format used solely to talk about him. Like a naughty dog he brings it back to him every time. Sad.

Could Richard Herring please stop. Just stop. Enough is enough. The whole stones thing was surely a sign. If the Hitler moustache was not enough then the stones thing should have been a give away. Pack it in now. We’ve all had enough.

What else is there to say? Everybody else has already banged on about how good the podcast is. We all know how funny and insightful an interviewer Richard is. His archive of guests, as previously covered by others, is rich and impressive in scope. Even his choice of sponsors is appealing and his...Read full review »

RHLSTP is a weekly staple podcast listening for me. I enjoy Richard’s style of interviewing and the guests he has on. The best interviews in my opinion are with those who aren’t comedians or actors, but with intellectuals where Richard gets his teeth into the subject without losing any humour....Read full review »

The sheer joy that Richard Herring so clearly had doing this podcast makes it worthwhile on its own. Then add the legend that is Michael Palin and you have a podcast I will listen to over and over again. A triumph

...is absolutely wonderful! I can’t remember an interview in which Sir Michael was quite as relaxed and talkative. Richard Herring has really outdone himself there. He made a lot of hype around that interview and I have to say, it is even better than my highest expectations.

Please don’t stop. Keep them coming. In my top three poddies ever. Every episode (except the two with an obnoxious guest) is brilliant. Great job Gamcaster.

Disheartening to read some of the reviews on this complaining about a)advertising... on a FREE podcast b) specific guests... when you have 274 episodes to choose from, majority of which are laugh out loud funny. This has been a consistently excellent podcast for years now and I always look...Read full review »

I used to really look forward to these, but now not so much. Went off track when Richard became obsessed with Brexit and seemed to get desperate for guests. The Edinburgh ones were really hard work. Have kept my subscription and will listen if the guest interests me. This is a big change as I...Read full review »

I’m increasingly deleting new episodes after 10 minutes because it just isn’t interesting or funny. There’s lots of good episodes in the archive but I don’t know who most of the people are who’ve been on in the last year. When’s Brian Blessed coming back?

Been listening for a while now. Absolutely love all of them! Richard’s hilarious and so laid back - makes for very relaxed, entertaining listening. I was looking forward to a nice relaxing time with Richard Herring. But early on one of the guests came screaming on with no warning. If you’ve got earphones in it’s unpleasant and not knowing if that idiot is going to keep it down, I’m not going to the listen to the rest
ffuffsrtvv via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/01/20
One of the funniest podcast around. Guests are at ease and open up leading to brilliant interviews, none seem to be there just to flog a book or tour so you learn something about the real them. Interviewing as it should be done

Always a top listen, and amongst the fantasies of carnal activity with robots and reflecting on yet more quiz show failure, surprisingly heartfelt. Greg Davies episode from 2018 still the absolute pinnacle of 2 overgrown adolescents talking nonsense (if that is a genre of podcast).

I “discovered” RHLSTP in January this year. Listened to the second Greg Davies interview on the tube to work. Snorted loudly with laughter in an embarrassing number of occasions and had tears of hilarity rolling down my face. All interviews are insightful, some are hilarious, some crude and some...Read full review »

Used to be brilliant. Random questions about ham hands and finger in time used to take the guests on really funny tangents. But nowadays, it’s just a lot of monologues from the guests. I played the Nick Frost one expecting it to be brilliant, it’s basically just a quite serious interview, and not...Read full review »
