and I should know, I’m one of the call kids that calls it RHLSTP! So many great guests, but Richard is the true star

My friend suggested this to me and at first I was a bit phased by how many episodes existed already. Luckily I stuck with it and I am now trying to listen to every single episode from the beginning. Very funny and very interesting podcast and I highly recommend!!

My husband played a few on a long car journey without the kids and I fell in love with this podcast. So much so that I’ve gone back to the very beginning to listen to them all!!! Sometimes I think I listen to too many in one go while I’m working and I go down a bit of a Herring Hole. Thank you...Read full review »

Episode with Rob Rouse had me crying while driving, Rich does a great job with interviews & guests feel comfortable, highly recommended

Always funny, frequently filthy, occasionally profound, and never boring.

If you're Prince Andrew, best give it a miss. Because you're a **********. Still hilarious after all these years.

This used to be a funny, edgy podcast. Now it’s rammed with advertising and has genuianlly lost its way.

I’ve loved him long time. Seen him live/on TV but there is something so lovely about the podcast which I’ve been listening too since the beginning. Always makes me laugh. Love it!

I’ve been watching Richard Herring since the 90’s when Lee and Herring were on the (I think) Sunday Morning Show, along with Kevin Eldon and Newman and Baddiel. Obviously he’s not on tremendously often but I recently found out why. Because he’s doing this. He hasn’t lost his edge. After binge...Read full review »

A thoroughly good listen.

A superb podcast. Great guests, great comedy and a quality that never drops from the hardest working comic. Stewart Lee would never have made it big. Get Mr Herring back on the television. Televise RHLSTP. Brilliant

I have followed Richard’s career for years-like and love his comedy-these podcasts have become so much more than just a fun filled listen with his fellow entertainers. I am very glad that some recent episodes have taken a more “serious” tone-still with a dash of silliness intact...Nicholas...Read full review »

Quite funny here and there but I’m getting bored of people talking about what it’s like to have children.

I’ve listened to a few hundred shows now, and they talk about travel a lot. Best bits are the Emergency Questions, although I can’t remember the “what’s your favourite loo?”, I’m sure that it must have been.

Year upon year Richard Herring’s output never fails to entertain. Thanks

Consistently funny and RH’s interview style gets both honest and heartfelt answers, plus plenty of silliness and funny stuff, too. Great for the commute.

Well ... it’s probably a toss-up between this and Adam Buxton, if I’m honest.

If there is a better podcast to help pass long journeys I’ve yet to find it. He brings out the daft in everyone. The Emergency questions must be asked

How is he not on TV....probably because hes not Vanilla. Excellent guests, always interesting, sometimes toe curling (Stephen Merchant - Makenzie Crook)but always laugh out loud funny. Pushes the boundaries thank goodness.......please never stop.

Richard Herring was not a part of my life growing up as Lee and Herring passed me by in my formative years. I switched on to the podcast as a result of the news cycle created by Stephen Fry’s confession about suicide. Richard Herring manages to stumble his way through interviews with occasional...Read full review »

Love Richard Herring, he gives us the confidence to laugh at everything in life and enjoy the absurd and the silly.

Richard's informal and sometimes cheeky interview style is definitely unique, and I'm sure there's not many who could get away with it in the same way he does. The banter with the audience translates well into broadcast, lending a sense of familiarity. Whilst some episodes are laugh out loud...Read full review »

I’m not going to lie and say I’ve listened to every episode, but one of my simplest pleasures in life is saving up a bunch of these for a long drive, or for laying around on a sunny holiday. Time just melts away. Like any show that relies on Interviews, your interest may depend on who Richard is...Read full review »

I have listened to pretty much every one of these podcasts. Some great guests, both well known and less well known. Very few duds.

Richard never fails to get the best out of his guests, and the diversity of guests he has is credit to his reputation. Each one is entertaining but the archive he has amassed is impressive. Stand outs are all of Sarah Millican, Greg Davies, London Hughes, an early Steve Pemberton and Reece...Read full review »

This podcast is consistently hilarious. Enjoy every single episode, Rich has a wonderful way of seeming unprofessional, while actually getting the best from every single guest. The episode with London Hughes is absolutely amazing, she really should be on every show on TV, so funny.

I don’t want to give this 5 stars because Richard is clearly a teat .. but his podcast is great, so, there it is.
ronansprake via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/22/19
Love these podcasts. Richard always gets interesting guests, and you can tell he’s having a lot of fun. Wish I could have some Spangles.
PudPuller UK via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/22/19
Cannot praise highly enough this amusing interview podcast. It’s just like a couple of mates having a laugh with the odd occasion of a serious discussion. Minor criticism is Herring laughing at his failed attempts at witticisms when mid conversation

This was the first podcast I started listening too. It made me get into other podcasts but has also introduced me to new comedians I had previously not known. Constantly funny
