This is such an easy listening , interesting and thought provoking podcast . I love the way Giles gently coaxes conversation out of his guests . Giles has a wealth of back stories but does not dominate the conversation . He somehow manages to get his guests to open up and reveal interesting stories about their first experiences .

Gyles is so easy to listen to. Wonderful to hear his chat with our national treasure Dame Judi Dench and he followed it with another treasure: Alison Hammond. Can’t wait to hear who he talks to next! Fascinating to hear all their firsts (loves, disappointments, jobs, smells etc). Awesome idea.

Gyles, it doesn’t add anything to frequently “pop in” and spoil the flow. I adored listening to the wonderful Judi & it would have been a better listen without the regular interruptions 🥺
