“This podcast is a gem. It helps me
so much to enjoy running at the fullest, improve myself and be proud of that improvement.
Chris and his hosts are human, open and generously sharing their immense knowledge.
I really like the wide variety of aiming at athletes of ‘all levels’, book reviews, practical tips, current events and goosebump-level tales of for instance Boston heroes of the past.
The ‘less fast’ athletes are as worthy in Chris’ opinion and approach as the rockets and NASCAR’s. To me that feels like the true spirit of the running community.
I listen basically at two moments: during long runs and almost every night before falling asleep. Sound quality is pristine (no cracky telephone lines - yeah!) and a host with a made-for-radio sonore voice and great narrative skills and this rich and visual vocabulary you Americans all seem to be Born with. 😉
As a light sleeper, no or less sleep meds for me, this podcast very often does the trick. I sincerely woke up quite a few times in the middle of the night playing six episodes back on my ears 😄 (the classic of falling asleep before turning
Off)
Chris, Sasha, Steve (in retro), James and all the other usual suspects, Thank you so Much for giving me so much for the sport and way of life that running is. It makes a difference in my life and my loved ones.
Maurice, The Netherlands
Ps. The only downside? You brainwashed me with all this BQ-stuff. Back here Boston is not so Much of lifelong goal for many. Unfortunately I have to chase it now. It will be a hell of a ride, nearly impossible. But i look forward to it 😉”
