“This is such a fun podcast to listen to. Andy and John are hilarious, and make what could potentially become dull in the hands of a single podcaster into what you'd expect from a couple pals drinking, joking around, and talking about one of their favorite subjects. Really reminds me of me and my friends when talking about the subjects we're passionate about.
They're also great communicators and speakers. Able to breakdown complicated subjects in a way that's easy to digest.
If I had any complaint, its that I wish we could get more shows concentrating on the nitty gritty of every day life, and polictics in Medieval Iceland, Norway, and the other communities that are tied to the sagas. It's not that John and Andy neglect this completely, it's just I want more of it.
Other than that, I really can't complain. Highly recommended for fans of history, vikings, or those who love a good old yarn.”Read full review »
