This is a podcast that views everything through a liberal filter which is such an affirmation for me. It’s an opportunity to listen to news that I agree with, without having to tolerate the things that I don’t. The variety of guests is fantastic. The only drawback is that the hosts sound a little...Read full review »

Love to share this podcasts with my friends on what’s going on in U.S. policy. Every month a new episode is released that details a topic in plain language that’s interesting, up-to-date and super informative. Love listening to this + using it for school papers.

This is the type of podcast that appreciates thoughtfulness and bringing academic consideration without the jargon. I would suggest this podcast to anyone looking for an interdisciplinary podcast to social science without the language that can make most scholarly subjects inaccessible to everyone...Read full review »

Pregnant “people”? Good substantive discussions too often subordinated to PC jargon.

What a great show! No Jargon consistently puts out episodes with researchers that are easy to understand, not overly complex, but boy do they teach you a thing or two. Definitely check them out if you want to dig a little deeper on some fascinating subjects, without getting caught up in the...Read full review »

Lizzy, Miranda, and Dominik, along with their insanely knowledgeable guests are making sociology fun again! The wide variety of topics they cover and the engaging way in which they deliver them had me hooked from my very first listen. They’re also personable and funny, which let’s be honest;...Read full review »

Excellent, digestible nuggets of wisdom. Just jump past the circus-y and abrasive intro jingle.

This is an excellent show, which gives you quality scholarship in a digestible format. Just please - change the music; It totally misrepresents the material and makes me feel like I’m listening to keystone cops.

Pretty boring and one sided analysis of issues. They take complex and nuanced issues and simplistically approach them from only one side. Very dogmatic- propagandizing their view of truth rather than inviting the listener to search out truth with them.

I only wish we could hear more right leaning researchers, but even so, really good material

A refreshingly straightforward and data-based perspective on the world. A stark contrast to the click-baiting, fact-free, opining of so many journalists, think-tankers, and even activists. I really wanted this to be a better podcast. It's a good format and easy to listen to, but there are still biases that come out in the dialogue. I am loving this podcast! It covers topics that I don't see on the other news or science podcasts I listen to.
