necessary in many ways
This podcast is in the brilliant position of being educational and impactful. It does not shy away from hosting a space in which strong, even controversial arguments can be made not built on the prejudices or preconceptions of any individual but rather on the strong, intellectually rigorous foundation of academic research. It is a resource for all of us as we attempt to intellectually and politically unravel the complicated social and economic phenomena that put too many Black men in prison, take away too many resources for female health care, prop up profitable enterprise over people's livelihoods, and so much more. And for those active in improving these crises, having knowledge as an ally is incredibly valuable. To those who have worked so hard to make this podcast, thank you for continuing to shine a light in a dark world.Read full review »

Excellent, digestible nuggets of wisdom. Just jump past the circus-y and abrasive intro jingle.
