I always find the topics very interesting and the interviews are great. It never disappoints!

I really like this podcast and the content however I’m not untested in the deeper dive, I wish you could take a leaf out of the BBC history and split the deeper dive episodes and the main episodes up so you are not inundated with the extra subscription episodes.

I’ve learnt so much listening to this podcast. They’ve managed to make quite difficult scientific concepts accessible to everybody. I’ve not become a genius instantly but I certainly feel smarter!

However, too much airtime given to pseudoscientific nonsense.

As an aspiring life-long learner, this podcast is a must-listen. The Science Focus team features so many incredible guests. Together with their guests, they take potentially complicated topics and present the information in a fun and engaging way. Definitely recommend listening and subscribing!

The interviewer of the doctor who saved her husband's life from a superbug was an absolute idiot! Why did he find it necessary to giggle throughout the entire interview? Her account was fascinating, he was an annoying distraction.Read full review »

Great episode! One piece of advice for the hostess: try not to giggle as a response while your guest is talking. A word, or even silence, is better. Good luck!

Having been made redundant in March, I have been on a year’s worth of self improvement. Over the last few years, I have been so absorbed in the intensive training it required I haven’t been able to learn other subjects. If this year brought anything, time to learn was it. Some enlightening,...Read full review »

The presenters are distinctly amateur in their manner. They um and urm as if they are real novices. Hard to credit this is the BBC.

Sue Biack rocks! She wants to be an afticulated skeleton when she grows up so she can still teach anatomy. 😁

The science behind what sounds good to human ears has unfortunately been ignored by the producers. Dreadful choice of voices.

This is a great podcast but like so many these days it gets interrupted by inappropriately timed ads. In the June 15 episode at 21:23 an ad pops up mid word, “toda........wait 58 seconds......y” rubbish!

The lack of an opposite social scientist of psychologist on your episode regarding so called ‘implicit bias’ and pushing Marxist propaganda of ‘privilege’ is not science. An open conversation between two sides of this would have been more beneficial for the listeners to understand this woman’s...Read full review »

The episode I just listened to - on fat- was quite directionless. I was very interested in the subject but hard to stay engaged with the style of the programme. The chap was maybe asked only 3 questions over 40 minute and just kind of waffled on with lots of pauses. It could have been better if...Read full review »

If you are interested in a serious podcast about science this is not for you. Here you get a political show, where a naive activist girl blames all problems in the world on Donald Trump.

Very interesting podcast but poor sound quality compared to other BBC podcasts.
