“This podcast is a breath of fresh air even if you aren't a science fiction nerd like these guys. (But aren't we all?) The discussions are analytical and conversational and the hosts are hilarious and relatable. I have only listened to one episode so far, "Outbreak v. Contagion" as I just recently watched the latter and stumbled upon this podcast out of curiosity. I really enjoyed the insights. It is crazy to think that episode was posted in November 2019, just before the world changed contagion-style. Please sometime do a bonus episode and revisit the comparisons made now having had our own, thankfully much less fatal, contagion, which seemed almost beyond belief back then. “It’s nice to hear a film podcast where the hosts get straight to the point and talk about films. Too many movie podcasts have the hosts dropping their would-be stand-up jokes throughout and not taking their own subject matter seriously. These guys are really insightful and funny but not annoying.”
