“I honestly think that this podcast must be as good as therapy. Here is an example of how the podcast has positively affected my life: I recently moved to NYC from a small, quiet town in PA. I had difficulty adjusting to the noise of cars that park on our street at all hours of the night with stereo blasting. I used to attach a long story to the noise like this: "what kind of jerk is so inconsiderate making this noise?! Don't they know people have to get up early for work!?" By applying the concepts of mindfulness, I no longer attach extra suffering to the noise by making up a story about the noise and who is causing it and why. Instead, I notice the noise for what it is, not judging it, and then I immediately go back to sleep. Much less suffering! I just bought Noah's book. Can't wait to read!”Read full review »
