Absolutely Loved the Housewives episode with Elizabeth Day - pure joy and entertainment. I also wanted to thank you Caroline for your vocal support of Gaza 💛

Impossible to listen to this podcast without feeling pure joy. It is light and funny and heartwarming whilst also being incredibly detailed and informative. I’m obsessed. I want more. And I’m shattered I missed the live show in Melbourne, please come back! Xxxx

Great chat about Jagged Little Pill. I’m fairly new to the podcast and really enjoyed this episode and the one about Enya as well as a couple of non-music themed episodes. My only issue, as mentioned by others, is that the sound is wildly varied and desperately in need of compression or something...Read full review »

Have I watched the entirety of Sex and the city, or And Just Like That? No. Have I listened to Sentimental in the City twice a year since Dolly and Caroline first started recording together? YES. Love the whole pod, but especially need to talk about how much I adore Sentimental in the City....Read full review »

There’s nothing I love in this world more than listening to smart hot women talk about movies. This podcast is like a warm hug from a long distance friend. 10/10

I usually love this podcast but feel compelled to say the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days ep was an incoherent mess :( Caroline did her best to try to keep on topic but the guest seemed set on spending the entire time talking about how much she disliked Matthew McConaughey. Maybe it got better, but...Read full review »

I just listen to the episode on How to loose a guy in 10 days where they spend 15 minutes barely discussing the movie and the rest on boring personal anecdotes. I used to love this podcast, I’ve been listening to it since 2019 but now Caroline is famous she is barely phoning it in! Such a shame....Read full review »

Have loved this podcast for ages. But this one felt so out of touch. Lots of comments that were unkind to some women. Caroline has always been a stalwart of fierce femininity but this episode was a bit mean girls for me.

It’s exactly my brand of intellectualising what is usually seen as “trash” content. I’m currently listening to ‘Sentimental in the City 6’ and Caroline and Dolly perfectly describe how a man will have a faux relationship with a woman for a night or a short period of time and it just hits home but...Read full review »

I love this show, it’s like you’re hanging out with some friends just chatting about random things you like that other people don’t get. Great topics, great guests and great laughs. It is so entertaining and cheers me up - Caroline’s laugh is the best!

Caroline and guests may not know the most, BUT THEY FEEL THE MOST about whatever they are talking about. You may laugh. You may cry. But you will always leave each ep smiling.

I got into this podcast when Sentimental in the City came out. I was trying to get into running and loved the podcast so much that I would only allow myself to listen to it when I had to go for a run. After a while I was buzzing for my runs so that I was allowed to listen. I would laugh all the...Read full review »

I’ll be honest, I didn’t get fully hooked in the early days (when Sentimental Garbage was mostly about books), and that was simply because I hadn’t read many of the books that you and your guests discussed… Enter Sentimental In The City: a rite of passage for every girl, gay and they, and a...Read full review »

And the woman who ‘exposed’ her on Twitter was called Kayleigh Turner, this is also how I discovered this incredible story. Love this podcast so much! The love and appreciation for things I also love are amazing - I’m now going back and listening to the episodes for thing I had never heard of, just for the lovely chats. When I heard that Dolly bought Caroline the pink Christian Louboutins that Miranda’s water broke on, I cried. I will forgive them for not loving Todd Rundgren’s “Hello, It’s Me.” Tommy the Irish Doorman 4-Ever. I just love these women. Brilliant writers, brilliant talkers, brilliant friends.

Found this podcast after hearing Sarah Marshall rave about it. These two ladies are absolute gems. I felt myself blush at a few moments because it’s so relatable. This show feels a lot like getting a drink with my most interesting friends. I generally like this podcast but I was quite upset to be presented with a comparison of weight (10st as good and 14st as bad ??) almost instantly in the bodies episode, which I expected to be an exploration of the portrayal on women’s bodies in media.
