another PARCAST stinker
The female host who's not a psychologist but tries very hard to sound like one is horrible. She's stiff and unnatural in her delivery, reading her cliched facts about serial killers very poorly. And as with the other PARCAST podcasts, the "facts" of the cases and stories they tell are often times not facts at all. For instance; in regards to the location of Holmes' "murder castle" they state; "even today you can take walking tours of the decrepit building..." No you can't. The house was burned down soon after his arrest and the lot that it used to stand on is a post office. I'd pass on this one and the other fare PARCAST offers. The Parcast Network's "Serial Killers" provides easy, enjoyable but nonetheless informative listening on cases I had no knowledge of and provides enough intrigue to the profiles it tackles that it makes me want to delve into them further. I'm looking forward to whatever "less...Read full review »

Pretty good podcast. Only listened to the first episode and found it while listening to tragic lives. I'm okay with it being scripted, but the banter between the host and "Kimberly" is ridiculous. Lose her character and the podcast would be better.Read full review »
