“People who listen to true crime podcasts aren't interested in the podcasters themselves. We don't care who you are or what dramatic catchphrases you use. The fact that your "expert" is another amateur websleuth makes no sense. Why can't she just be a fellow host? Why make a big deal out of who this person is if they're not anyone important really? Because that's what TV shows do? This choice is emblematic of everything wrong with the podcast - I really wanted to enjoy it but no, that's not possible.
