Too much self-insertion, bad narration
People who listen to true crime podcasts aren't interested in the podcasters themselves. We don't care who you are or what dramatic catchphrases you use. The fact that your "expert" is another amateur websleuth makes no sense. Why can't she just be a fellow host? Why make a big deal out of who this person is if they're not anyone important really? Because that's what TV shows do? This choice is emblematic of everything wrong with the podcast - I really wanted to enjoy it but no, that's not possible. This podcast does a great job of being informative and entertaining. Greg has a unique delivery that is great for a serial killer themed show.

There are plenty of other serial killer podcasts out there - take your time elsewhere. I got through half of the first episode and it was so corny and horrible.
