*I* Care About Frank
The number one rule in critique is to start with something positive, and then move on to the criticism (which should be constructive rather than bashing). The first five minutes of the first episode was entirely bashing a character, and, by extension, the writers. It was not at all enjoyable to listen to, whether I like Frank or not (and I do). I saw the title and was justifiable nervous. Couldn't finish the episode. I like Lani and have enjoyed some of her other podcasts, but I might have to give this one a pass. I might have had a different rating had she saved the rant to the end, but she didn't.Read full review »

I enjoyed TSATS, didn't always agree with them but liked their viewpoints. I had high hopes for this podcast but couldn't finish the review of episode 301. Too much Frank-hating and way too many f-bombs. I wish Lani the best but I just can't subscribe to this.Read full review »

My absolute favourite Outlander podcast - Lani's analysis is always rich and nuanced. This podcast helps me to view the episodes in new and interesting ways, and really interrogates the content with an eye on story and the intricacies of character. Added bonus? Lani is a goddamn delight!
