This lady. It’s very common to be confused and unable to make sense of past trauma. I believe every word of her story having worked In Mental Health for Over 30 years. All inpatients are seen by their psychiatrist three times a week.

This is an extremely poor podcast that takes the incredibly ground breaking work of Dr Van Der Kolk a preeminent trauma expert psychiatrist deeply out of context and makes out like he supported recovered memories which he does not. The extra sound and reading take away from the overall production. Also very repetitive. Podcasts, like news articles, don’t need to remind us nor repeat things as often as the schools taught.
