Horrific display of reinforcing sexual abuse myths and stigma
If you love to blame sexual and child abuse victim/survivors and have zero understanding of CSA then this is the podcast for you! I was horrified listening to the first episode of this podcast which continuously blames the victim/survivor. Clearly the journalists have no background in mental health, abuse or trauma responses. The podcast continuously reinforces abuse myths and indicators of classic grooming/sexual assault as reasons to believe the perpetrators. Honestly it’s embarrassing. The impact this podcast could have on the victim/survivors recovery is terrifying.
