Excellent but troubling listen
I don’t see it as victim blaming. I just see it as very good investigative journalism. No disrespect to others who have personal valid reasons for disagreeing- however this journalist could have been seen as picking on a “cancer survivor” when investigating Belle Gibson, Clare Harvey could have been seen as “picking on a man who lost his wife” with Chris Dawson- it’s just about truth.

This is not a victim centred approach at all. I would rate it more highly if it included just how nuanced trauma is and how unreliable memory is, for a myriad of reasons. I found this hard as so much was to believe yet so much seemed so unbelievable. Reactive attachment disorder comes to mind , especially when dad was going overseas and she said “I’ll make sure no one ever believes you again”. Was that to make him stay?
