“There is no doubt that the dad is abusive and the mother did not do enough to protect her children.
What is questionable doubt (I wouldn’t say reasonable) is the other half of the siblings living under the same roof that deny anything happened. What is also questionable is the evidence (the only bits that we are privy to anyway). There must be more that can not be disclosed.
The concept of repressed memories was obviously scrapped by the mental health experts because a diary was produced as proof. Surely you can’t have repressed memories and document them, than have easy access to them. Than the times and dates apparently are not all correct either and conflict with the dad being overseas which is very fishy and looses trust and a credibility. Perhaps that is the disassociation component of multiple personalities and loosing the concept of time. The victims were obviously very disturbed from their home life and that alone is damning evidence but the accuracy may not be all there which is also disturbing.
I also find the aftermath very strange. The victim has gone on to fight more cases?! The other siblings still haven’t had traumatic revelations?! The grandmother now has doubt and her witness stand was apparently ill informed. The case is definitely disturbing and strange.”
