Would love to give this podcast a higher rating especially because Paul is decent enough to listen to but looooord Jesus Mick O’Toole is actually obsessed with himself - I now only tune in to see how creative he gets with trying to turn a murder or a shooting or some other crime back around to...Read full review »

This is always so interesting, the two journos give considered summaries of what’s occurred. Love their natural and relaxed manner and the way they bounce off each other just makes for a great listen. Great work, keep it going if you can, i have no doubt it’s a big ask but know we love it and are...Read full review »

Just finished listen to the last of the Aisling Murphy trail, had to turn off the crimeworld because couldn’t stand listen to them still dancing around the motivation to why she was killed. I also don’t know how they thought he was quiet and calm and here it says he was smirking. Anyway thought...Read full review »

Really enjoying this podcast the only downside is that the presenter Michael can be repative. He interrupts the other journalist and repeats what has just been said!

The absolute neck on you all naming your podcast “Shattered Lives” and then giving John Gilligan a platform to lie and disrespect the family of Veronica Guerin and the Irish people. That man caused untold suffering and devastation in Irish communities and he now gets a platform, thanks to the...Read full review »

Well Lads Paddy here in Oz listening to your excellent podcast Interesting angle on the pleasure of holding a newspaper I feel that you are “flogging a dead horse” As a young senior of 7 decades and growing up when my late uncle Pat used to read his Irish press every day and Sunday Press Oxy...Read full review »

The content of each podcast is overbearingly self indulgent. Mick O Toole just pay attention to many times you say “I” e.g I did, I think, I know, I met, I went etc. add to this barrage of self centred talk, the constant emphasis on how “as a journalist” you know more than everyone else, you see...Read full review »

Brilliant podcast, very informative, also like the way there are no ads or loud intros and outros like other podcasts as I usually put it on when I’m going to sleep.

Really enjoy this podcast and find it to be innovative and refreshing in comparison to a similar podcast. While I follow both- I prefer to listen to the lads who approach the topics covered carefully and with consideration. Keep up the good work and look forward to future episodes!

Paul Healy and Michael O'Toole are fantastic crime reporters, who also know how to tell a story and conduct an interview with dignity for the victims. Everything is well researched but they don’t carry on or drag anything out. I love the new weekly episode on the crimes of the week as well.Read full review »

Came across this pod after searching the Hutch trial and stayed with it. If you’ve an interest in true crime and Irish true crime give this one a try, it’s very good.

This podcast is amazing untold stories from the victims of the crime. Told personally and dealt with so sensitively by the podcasters. Very touching stories told locally from Ireland. Gives a voice to those who haven’t always been heard but only seen.
