Polybius Conspiracy is fake
This series sounds fake, and it is, but they sell it as a true story. While they incorporate real interviews with real people re a real urban legend, massive parts of the narrative in this podcast series are completely fabricated, including the central character. I really wish they'd just been up front about this - I would have enjoyed it a lot more had known that from the start.Read full review »

This podcast is very well done with intriguing content. My ears are sad when an episodes over---they don't want to stop listening to it.

Came here for Polybius, in wake of reading about its "twist." I think what these guys have done is pretty awesome, taking actual aspects and facts and blending it with their own creation.
