“I really want to like this podcast. A lot of her views match up well with mine, I am interested in the topics she selects, she has obviously put a lot of thought into her decisions, and I like the people she decides to interview. BUT. She also bugs me. She is super sanctimonious and stiff and all of her niceness seems very forced. This was only bothering me a little bit when I was listening to her earlier episodes, but now that she is doing interviews it is kind of driving me nuts. She spends SO much of every interview talking about her own views (which if you've listened to earlier episodes, you have already heard) and trying to prove how much she knows. I keep catching myself rolling my eyes when and I always end up wishing she had let the guest talk more.
Maybe if you have had no exposure to the ideas she is talking about, this podcast is for you. She definitly tries to break some of this stuff down. BUT. If you're already on board, this podcast probably isn't for you. I have listened to literally every episodes and I keep telling myself I will give it one more episode before I unsubscribe to see if it gets better.
