“Not sure why there are so many complaints about ads. What podcasts are people listening too that have significantly fewer ads than this one? It's a free podcast, they need to pay the creators somehow. Anyways, the creator did a fantastic job getting interviews and securing audio from loads of people who were involved with Father Ryan, so you get to hear the story from their point of view. Fascinating story and look into the life of a conman. I agree with another reviewer here though, how did Father Ryan learn all of that Latin? “Hate it when they are too slow at the beginning, instead fake Priest jumps right in the first 2 episodes. I listen to pod casts everyday and I’m glad I found a good one.
Other people’s criticisms: sneaky ads: they have to have ads for revenue so who cares, an ad is an ad, fast forward it.
