I listened to the first episode hoping for the promised discussion on what socialism actually is; you know - some theory of it’s philosophy, it’s history, why it is superior to capitalism and so on. Sadly, got a lot of evangelism and almost no definition. Like evangelists - heavy on persuasion...Read full review »

Thank you! This is great, but why no updates since September? BTW, whatever happened to the SWP in the US? I see Pathfinder press is still in operation . Thanks again!

Socialism and communism is about removing all rights of the people, and giving all money to the government, who will then distribute to only those who they feel worth are it, someone has to pay for all the takeovers and all the welfare services, and that is the everyday person. There is no...Read full review »

Information is really good, and I really enjoy the podcast. I love the reviews though. “Oh my, a podcast of socialism!? I need to do my part and rate it 0 stars!”. Pretty entertaining stuff.

I enjoy listening to Socialism podcasts on my commute to work. They never fail to give insight on significant events that are ignored or brushed over in the mainstream media. The explanations make total sense whereas MSM never really answers your questions.

You don't have to be in the UK for this podcast to be relevant. Its a great source for history, conversations and other resources to further the knowledge and unity for a socialist movement.Read full review »

It gives good explanations of Trotsky’s ideas and historical events that are easy to understand.

I love the accents. I love the sound quality. The people are cool, and the ideas sound nice. The only problem? It’s false information. If capitalism is so evil, why aren’t we fleeing America and packing our bags for Venezuela? If Marxism is so beautiful, what happened to the USSR? I’ve been to...Read full review »

To say that ISAF coalition in the Middle-East is “imperialistic” is actually the craziest thing I have ever heard in my life. Name a single place where coalition forces have settled in the Middle-East. If not then research the definition of imperialism.

Badly needed podcast making the case for the necessity for a socialist alternative to neoliberal capitalism.

Good content but audio quality needs to be vastly improved. Each speaker should have their own microphone

A podcast like this is desperately needed on the left. The political content is extremely sharp, coming from the biggest section of the Trotskyist international the CWI, stitching together lessons from their common work all across the world. Beyond that, the production quality is also top-notch....Read full review »

I really wanted a podcast which focuses on UK issues and is clear about the socialist party stance on worldwide issues too. Thank you! A ray of sunshine in the dark world of capitalism! No justice no peace
