It isn’t extraordinary no matter how much they try to hype it. The 20 min episodes are 1/4 ads, 1/4 hyping what’s “coming next,” 1/4 rambling recordings, 1/4 recapping what they just said. They also focus on this genealogy angle, but it is nothing special you wouldn’t expect from any other true crime story that uses it. And it doesn’t even come up until about the 3rd episode!! Sooooo yeah this is a waste of your time. Just wait for your favs to come back.

I liked the hosts but didn’t like the phone interviews. The sound quality wasn’t as good as other podcasts. The story was good. I didn’t mind the recalls at the start of each episode, I would usually advance it along if I was listening back to back episodes. I am looking forward to season 2.
