“Leighton Flowers faces technological challenges in the form of background noise and difficulty presenting recorded information from other sources. Thankfully it sounds like he is working on these issues. These issues and a few minor issues (perhaps mine) keep me from giving a full 5 stars.
Theologically he seems spot on. My first real exposure to Calvinistic/ Reformed thought left me feeling like it it couldn't right, but I lacked a coherent refutation. Soteriology 101 filled in the gaps and gave me a confidence in a non-Calvinistic understanding of predestination.
If you only have time for one episode or want a good sample, listen to "5 Points OUT of Calvinism". I recommend starting with the first episode and listening in sequence. The format of rebutting or commenting on opposing views lends itself to redundancy. If you start at Episode 1 and listen until it gets repetitive, you should understand, if not accept his perspective. Flowers is respectful and thoughtful.”Read full review »
