I wanted to say that I have been listening to the show for a few years since I first found the podcast. I like that has introduced me to some different music. I appreciate the homage to Siskel and Ebert (love the interview with Ebert). They do well with many of the interview, find some of the special theme programs to be enticing, but then disappointing as it seems to be a game of trying to show of "how cool I am with finding this obscure/hipster" song or making some ironic pick of song "X". while something mainstream would be ignored or not even mentioned because it would draw the ire of the obsolete/extinct record store clerk arbiter or coolness like the Barry from High Fidelity. Come on they were apologetic in their negative review of Dylan's Christmas Album, which I think was the only time they haven't given bob a glowing review.Read full review »
