“Nora Young and her team do a wonderful job of turning what could easily be very dry material into topics that are applicable in a person's daily life. These Spark folks don't take themselves too seriously, and they seem to have fun doing their work - if this is a carefully crafted illusion, it's even more impressive.
I listen to many science and technology podcasts very week (I commute 4 hours per day) and Spark is the best one - it's not even a contest if Spark is in the race. Too often all the other sci/tech podcasts come across as snooty and holier than thou - the Spark folks are real people who seem genuinely involved and interested in the technology they're discussing.
