I can say that this podcast is the absolute best I have heard this year. I have binged listened to the entire series in a matter of weeks. I am anxiously waiting for new episodes. This show has the perfect amount of comedy, drama, action, and suspense with Sean’s cliffhangers. You guys are...Read full review »

One of, if not THE greatest TTRPG podcasts out there. This show is filled with whimsy, hilarity, fantasy, and vulgarity. The Cast has amazing synergy and has created a beautiful world, and even beautifuller characters. They weave a captivating story and tell it wholesomely and hilariously.

I love D&D and similar things, but none of my friends like it. I’ve been listening off and on for a year. I’ve probably laughed the most in the last month. I am re listening, and just started season one, but this podcast is quite good. You can’t predict what happens next, and I love it.

It makes such a difference in an actual play when the cast understands the importance of being a good performer in addition to being a good gamer. The crew’s history with performance is apparent, and it takes this show to the next level.

The first GD true play to make me cry. They say the location of your dreams is your true home, man I miss the NW. I’ve listened through all seasons at least thrice. As I am a freelancer in the gaming industry. Find your inspiration- become a Spoutlorian. Great work. Cheers

Absolute favourite, the cast are hilarious and are so great together, love every one of them. The story is brilliant: funny and silly one second then epic, dramatic and enthralling the next! Unfortunately I’ve listened to all the episodes now, so I have to wait for new ones to come out and then...Read full review »

This entire show is delightful, whimsical, ridiculously funny and silly. I usually struggle with the beginning portion of actual plays where everything is super goofy and there’s not much lore happening. Episode one- all these wonderful people are making up the world on the fly and it opened my...Read full review »

I have to hide my snickering so often while I’m commuting or walking home because of how often these guys land a truly hilarious random joke in the middle of an intense scene. Also I love how the spontaneity creates some really cool and unique world building :)

I was in a deep rut mentally and having trouble finding a way to work and get stuff done without feeling miserable. Consistently the most hilarious and well acted actual play podcast I’ve ever heard. Heartfelt, poignant, hilarious. On the strength of players and GM alone, Spout Lore is in the highest tiers of rpg podcasting, the true highlights though are the deeply endearing characters and probably the best world-building going. They hit their stride fast and just keep improving.
