This is the funniest and most entertaining actual play podcast I’ve listened to. The GM and players take their story seriously enough to invent some fascinating concepts, but they keep up a brisk pace and lighthearted tone throughout, never getting bogged down by lore and continuity. Makes it...Read full review »

This is my FAVORITE podcast. The collaborative story telling, hilarious improv, and captivating story brighten my day every time a new episode drops. I heard about the show from hosts guesting on comedy podcasts and have never heard a more perfect podcast. The only possible drawback is that...Read full review »

This podcast is chaotically charming, devastatingly impressive and endlessly entertaining. The hosts make comic improv seem easy and the world they weave before your eyes is rich with stupid glory. Their friendship and rapport is a pleasure to witness and i regularly laugh out loud... and i have...Read full review »

This Podcast has become such a source of fun and joy for me! My husband is a DM, and has had so much fun with his friends and I had a hard time understanding and participating. The story and characters are just incredible. If you are interested in tabletop RPGs but want more fun, this is the podcast for you. A group of oddly successful idiots that happen into weird situations. I also enjoy the fact that world building is a group effort rather than solely a DM led task.

I can’t express just how much I love these idiots and this amazing world.

Great comedy, the most collaborative world building I’ve ever seen on an actual play podcast. Absolutely love Billy and his two dads

Too many times I’ve had to pause the podcast because I don’t want to explain why I’m crying from laughter at work

There is nothing Moore fun then listening to true friends assault each other with grossly amazing stupidity that is so outrageous to be charismatic. This is a tabletop experience that one fantasizes about when they are rolling up a campaign

A really lovely podcast from some funny folx. I’ve revisited my favorite episodes several times. A fresh and funny take on the ttrpg podcast genre. Jessica is so effortlessly funny, Abdul kills in and out of character, Paul sounds like he’d be a straight man to Abdul, but is just as wacky as the...Read full review »

An amazing use of the Dungeonworld system. Fun and funny worldbuilding without devolving into chaos AND ALSO meaningfully emoptional without escalating to dull melodrama. Just great stuff.

So Spout Lore do what many other actual plays don’t, edit. These episodes just get better and better. I started listening at season 4 and season 5 has been incredible so far. When in isolation sometimes we need some escapism, and this is it. Thanks guys.

I listen to a LOT of podcasts. Most are entertaining and amusing, but this podcast is truly funny. I’m not one to rewatch TV shows or listen to podcasts more than once, but I will listen to this again and again. And I’ll be naming all my kids Gary.

I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve tried to repeat the jokes to my non-listener friends and failed. During all the stress of COVID-19, Spout Lore is helping me remember that there is still goodness out there...and it mostly looks like really inappropriate jokes.

It took me a while to get into Spout Lore but it has become one of my most enjoyed podcasts. Spout Lore is hysterically funny, occasionally heartwarming, and a joy to listen to. The adventures of Tuk, Billy, and Vyng (along with a whole host of NPCs or guests) make for some excellent listening! Also it has among the best theme songs of any podcast there is!
