Shame on Wondery! Don't waste your time.
I almost stopped listening after the first episode, but decided to give the 2nd episode a try. It was there I learned that one of the subject matter experts relied upon for this podcast is a disgraced FBI agent who famously lied under oath to Congress and and the American people, was involved in obtaining illegal FISA warrants that trampled upon the Constitutional rights of US citizens, and was ultimately fired for his transgressions. How am I to have any confidence in the integrity of the information provided in this podcast? Answer, I can't - I deleted it. I thought Wondery was better than this. I will look more critically at future podcasts from this provider. I subscribe to a lot of podcasts, don't have time to waste on something like this.Read full review »

At least in the first two episodes all the protagonists are constantly lying to portray themselves in a better light. This makes them even more boring. This case was in the news extensively, and the podcast adds little, except the voices of some of the participants.

You’re giving Maria a human side in this story. She is now a propaganda arm of the Kremlin. And the way she had no sympathy for Alexei Navalny when she interviewed him in prison.

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have an unbiased podcast with really solid journalism on a political subject. The host is smart thorough and gives all sides of the story with no opinion just facts. It's a must listen!Read full review »
