This is a very good podcast. It is in fact the only podcast I will listen to. But it’s very funny and I love the interaction with the fans about the episodes. And there’s so much of it!

Matt and Andy are witty and have great chemistry. They have a great bromance worthy of a Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Reminds me of discussing Trek with one of my best friends with the added incite of tv writers. When someone is having a discussion on a podcast and you feel the urge to yell your...Read full review »

STTNC - come for the lower decks source material, but stay for the single episodes that are long enough to last for an entire weeks worth of work commutes! Listen to Matt and Andy professionally vamp their way to podcast length history and earn the self-proclaimed title of “Best Podcast in the...Read full review »

What appears to be another amorphous puddle of audio goo is actually a densely packed podcast chock full of humour, a healthy dose of drama, and the necessary pile of nerdery. This podcast has the ability to shape-shift itself into various forms, such as comedy improv, 90’s nostalgia, Trekkie...Read full review »

I like this show and appreciate the actual discussion of the television series—usually relegated to about 30% of the show. Unfortunately, they’ve become a casualty of the Patreon era. the guys have devolved into well over an HOUR of mindless, meaningless Patreon shoutouts at the beginning of...Read full review »

TNC
First time reviewer and long time listener. The last few years haven’t been easy for anyone, and Matt and Andy are like a refuge from the storms. I throughly enjoy the banter, the sound bites, and the community building and yes, the Star Track commentary.

I recently have discoveredTNC well, unfortunately, having faaaaaar too much time on my hands-not the Styx song-due to some medical issues and I’ve been passing the time by binge watching deep space nine and next generation. While doing so I have been listening to the next conversation after each...Read full review »

This is without a doubt the greatest Trek podcast. Matt has the universal knowledge and Andy brings a unique writing and production perspective. They both bring the funny. Couldn’t recommend enough. Star Trek The Next Conversation is the best podcast ever in the history of all podcasts, up to and including podcasts that may run much smoother than this one with hosts who know exactly what order their show goes in; they're still better than that...FIVE STARS!!!Read full review »

I started to listen to the show to fill the void after leaving another Trek pod. I thought at first it might be something that would get me just through the work commute. Matt hates star track and his life, Andy is profoundly annoying, always trying to medicalize his lack of comprehension and creativity.

On the pod Andy and Matt always mention that Admiral’s always call characters by their rank and badmirals always call people by their first names. So since most people say Andy and Matt in their reviews of TNC should it be called the Badmirals club? Also the POD is fantastic and has been a part...Read full review »

The “good people on both sides” reference is amazing. Absolutely hilarious. When they focus on the good people on both sides and not Star Trek the show is great!

The “good people on both sides” reference is pathetic. When you actually focus on the show and not politics it’s great.

This podcast series is a throwback to devil-may-care podcasts of the late aughts. Pre-over-produced, over-commercialed, over-structured, over-celebritied podcasts. Hey matt and Andy! I’m on episode 47 in 2024. Just found you about a month ago. I listen while I’m getting ready in the mornings and while crafting! Matt said sorry about the world ending…..in 2018 (?) and then it did, kind of in 2020…..and Andy, iPhone 13 for me. Love the show🩷Disengage.
