Send Lynn to Mars...for science
The first episode I happened to listen to was one in which Lynn was out of town & not on the show. To my horror, I listened to another episode and was baffled at the inexplicable presence of an utterly unfunny, grating cohost. Neil, of all people, does not need a comic foil...nor does he need someone to keep him from getting too techinical/above the heads of his lay audience. Those things are Neil's bread and butter. As another reviewer said, he's a one man show. Lynn is terrible--she talks over the listeners that call in, she dominates the conversation, she's is seriously the least funny person on the planet. Sans Lynn, this podcast would easily get 5 stars, but I'm only giving it three because of how significantly she detracts from the quality and listenability of the show. If you love science this is the podcat for you. Neil Tyson does a great job of communicating science to the listeners. An earlier review said that he was right wing, he most certainly is NOT right wing!
