Super funny. Love the black holes! But I prefer no such thing as a fish

There’s a lovely portmanteau for this: mundacity - it’s the audacity of fools who think themselves wise, prognosticating for the rest of us. The usual high minded psycho babble, from the usual false prophets out there, AKA so called scientists.
PhilipRyan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/20/21
The snickering and often offensive interruption of quality scientific guests waters down this podcast. I think that they're trying to make science more pallatable by turning it into a cartoon and that's just it: you end up with cartoon science. Disappointing style. I get the...Read full review »

Lame jokes and fake laughter make this almost unlistenable. It’s such a shame because the subject matter is always interesting. Get rid of the annoying attempts at humor and I will listen again

Great podcast but the jokes are so bad.
NBA is FIXED via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/05/21
I get the idea of humor and bringing levity to heavy subjects, but when the attempts at humor continuously interrupt the show it gets tiresome. A guest will begin to share an interesting thought or start to answer a question only to be repeatedly interrupted.

Great guy. Great podcast. Fun to learn and laugh simultaneously. Shout out to Chuck too. Laughing with you now as I listen and write this. Great podcast. But it’s getting more than a little annoying that Neil is overtalking and interrupting guests. Let the guest shine. You’ve invited them on for a reason.

Show was fine until this pottery dude started buying airtime and portions of podcast spent talking about some dude that does something mundane.

I am 13 years old and you are my role model. I want to be an astrophysicist and love the universe and it’s mysteries. My favorite topic is probably strange quarks. I really hope to meet you at some point but it really is an Honor to listen to your knowledge Doctor Tyson.

It’s truly amazing how brilliant the guests are, however there is too much fake laughing by Neil and Chuck. Sometimes the best way to enhance a joke is to add to it, like another comedian they had Paul, who did not laugh obnoxiously. Neil shines when he adds detail, another point view,...Read full review »

This show has changed over the years. It is still a good show and does a great job of explaining complex ideas in a simple way. It is great at that. However, it has become more and more focused on sports and this I find annoying. I personally don't care for sports and would rather this...Read full review »

This podcast is informative and very humorous every time out. Neil, Chuck, and group do an excellent job of taking what could be a very drab or geeky subject and making easier to understand and entertaining.
STCoach via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/05/20
I tried it, but stopped with listening. For some reason it’s impossible for Neil to let his guests finish one complete sentence. Almost every time they get interrupted. And once you start paying attention to it the podcast becomes unlistenable.

I love listening to (weirdly) get to sleep and it’s amazing but I have one problem, I like the astronomical side of the conversations but when they do stuff like the fermentation episode, it’s alright but Neil is mainly correlated with astronomy so stick to the astronomy. I’m an 11 year old boy 🧠

Dr Tyson is great and I love the way he laughs. Sometimes I get the feeling Chuck is trying to be funny but it just comes across as cringe-worthy. I love this show NDT and chuck nice are the perfect combination teaches me all about the universe and blew my mind a few times! My only complaint is that sometimes you have to go digging to find the good ones but that is a little price to pay for such amazing content! Keep it up! 🙂

Good, short podcast episodes. Wide range of topics. Engages the average person without getting overly complex. But OMG! Get rid of Chuck! He’s loud, often interrupts guests with irrelevant comments, incorrectly thinks he is hilarious. You can hear the guests annoyance. Otherwise very enjoyable 🙂

Too much forced horsing around and lame comedy. Chuck laughs too hard at his own jokes. Get rid of chuck and I would probably listen. I feel like NDgT is forcing himself to laugh at the jokes too. Whoever is producing this needs to throw out the comedy. Guests sound uncomfortable.
