Love the show, don't like the co-host
The show has some very interesting subject matter, and even if I understand a lot of the basic concepts behind what they're talking about already, I love hearing more. It seems like every time Tyson is about to add in some kind of really explanation of something, though, Koplitz jumps in with some inane annoying commentary, and Tyson either loses his track, or decides Lynne isn't worth talking over. In addition, Lynne does this really annoying, "I'm just a dumb comedian who doesn't want to hear SAT words." Anyone listening to a show like StarTalk can handle Tyson's level of vocabulary, and we tend to be interested in the types of things he's talking about. Denigrating the subject matter of the show, or making fun of people who are interested in that subject matter is NOT funny, and really just alienates the audience. Please keep making the show, but get rid of Lynne Koplitz. The show is great when we have a different person as a co-host. Keep doing that.Read full review »

Great science combined with comedy and presented in a laid back relaxed manner. It really makes science come to life and does a great job in explaining how science impacts nearly everything in our daily lives. Keep up the great work Neil!

Dr. Tyson uses this podcast to give the average person science info and gives it with pop culture references. Dr. Tyson is one of the smartest people in the world and my hero. I would recomend reading his books
