Thought I’d heard all the History Pod Casts
I love my history Pod Casts and subscribe to them all, Dan Snow being a real favourite. And then comes Mr Fry and turns my journey home into a series of ‘really’ ‘my goodness’ ‘well I never’ Thank you Mr Fry you have done it again. Don’t take this the wrong way, I haven't read a single one of your books. Because I have listened to them all on audio, as I prefer your narration. You will actually now be placed on my listening list, as a preferred distraction to writing my thesis. Kind regards Gary Hudson (Doctoral Candidate).Read full review »

Reminds me a bit of A Short History of Nearly Everything (Bill Bryson - great book), as if it were written by Douglas Adams (Say no more), nicely delivered in Stephen Fry’s inimitable style. Great work S.F!
