Really Modifies How You Think About Games
This show is a welcome addition to a subscription list all about tabletop RPG design. The two hosts take a topic related to design or specific mechanics, and spend an episode going over how to tweak & Hack the concept for different scenarios. Each episode almost always ends with an actionable Thing at the end of it which I think is super cool. The hosts have a great rapport with each other and are both working on some interesting projects. Congrats to Brandon for getting the ashcan of his telenovela game, Pasion De Las Pasiones, out with Magpie Games!!! James’s projects are also super interesting, I’ve got my eyes on that Space Ice Truckers game! If the show and the hosts weren’t enough, the community has really stepped up & embraces each other, with active conversations happening on twitter, Discord, G+, and those conversations are often brought into the show to discuss in depth. Definitely check out this show, and don’t forget to Stop, Modify, and Roll!

Listening to this podcast always makes me want to go write games, which is probably the greatest compliment I can give. The show is fun and encouraging, and I always have a few episodes downloaded in case I’m in need of inspiration for my own projects.
