Peaceful and inspiring
I love turning on an episode of StopTime - Live in the Moment, whether it be an interview with an accomplished artist or a short take on what it means to be human at this moment in time. This podcast series is made rich by Lisa's intimate knowledge of the stage. She explores the real human beings behind accomplished performers and artists, a window that is all the more valuable to us now, particularly as we look for connection in stories of survival through lockdown. Through her incisive questions, Lisa has drawn commonalities of the experiences of fear, anxiety and isolation through this pandemic. We hear the terrifying experiences of Broadway going dark, of being thrown into uncertainty. Of extraordinary people living ordinary experiences of lockdown. She is an engaged listener and creates wide open space for these accomplished people to share freely of warm memories and experiences. Lisa allows her guests to weave a story that is lyrical, honest and authentic. I have been inspired by Lisa's exploration of what living in the moment feels like for people in such a competitive, high-paced space I recommend tuning in to discover what unifies us all!Read full review »
