Confused
I really like the story line, but I would enjoy it more if the hosts sounded less scripted. Ben sounds confused and emotionless. Sharon, sounds like a audio book I fell asleep to in high school. Be yourself, guys! Stop trying so hard with the theatrics and bad acting. The murder squad explains everything in depth like this podcast, but they also talk like they would in real life which makes it more enjoyable to listen to because it’s the REAL them speaking. When it comes to the case… we’re stressing the dNA and making this a big deal on how he was possibly wrongly convicted, but ignoring the fact that he threw away matching bullets found at the crime scene right after his interrogation? That’s the ONE thing that I can’t get over.

Meh
I enjoy listening to murder cases, and it doesn’t matter whether a case is especially unusual. But this case was purported to be extremely strange, and it frankly wasn’t. It’s almost like the hosts overpromised and underdelivered. Ben playing the “straight man” role was a bit disingenuous; he...Read full review »
