Good stuff
Maybe the title is misleading, as the focus is on gender issues, specifically women's issues. So if you're not interested in how estrogen is involved in migraines, well, maybe it's not for you. If you are interested in women's issues, however, it's great. I really appreciate the hosts' objectivity; even when they discuss potentially controversial topics like the gender/wage gap, they never devolve into "male-bashing" (thank goodness!) They present all sides of issues fairly (unlike Josh and Chuck) and give equal respect to each. I also find their humor to be dry but funny. It took a few episodes for them to develop a certain comfort level and rapport with each other, but they eventually found it and got over their initial "stiffness". The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is that sometimes they tackle pretty intense subjects and just don't have the time or format to give them the depth they deserve. Otherwise, really excellent, well-done podcast.Read full review »

These two women handle the issues of gender differences with fairness, dignity and class. They are not out to drive a wedge between the sexes or play the "girls are better than boys" game from 3rd grade; in fact, it would be wise to think of this podcast as being about humanity rather...Read full review »
