I had some high hopes...
Well, I use howstuffworks a lot. I subscribed to this as a chance to hear a short objective description on how an interesting object functions, and what I got was a subjective blend of opinions and religious phrasing. In the grassoline episode, for example, the host says that "switchgrass was put on this earth for cellular biofuel." I don't mind if you have religious opinions, but I don't like it when you solicit them to me. Also, the other guy tries to describe switchgrass as a weed. As an environmentally concerned kansan, this is borderline offensive. We wouldn't have the great plains ecosystem without this supposed trash plant. Don't take my word for it! Go ahead and try it, but watch out.Read full review »

This is a must-have podcast. I always learn something cool. It's really easy to listen to, because these guys have great chemistry. All you have to do is listen to one bad podcast to make you really appreciate how great this one is.Read full review »
