One of my favorite comedy podcasts
I love the absurdist humor on display here, it is quick, funny and smart. For you oldtimers... it's like National Lampoon's Radio Hour, yet seems largely improv'd. Go back and listen to all of them, it's fun to hear the genesis of characters as Matt and Jeremy start fleshing them out. Some of the early shows are rough around the edges, and I love how they keep breaking each other up with the clearly improv'd bits, but the tighter editing in newer shows works better. As Mark and Jeff start popping up more and more in season 2 you see the show establish a great rhythm. The best thing about this podcast is the potential on display with their latest effort featuring Paul F. Tompkins (_the_ best guest on any comedy podcast, IMHO). If you are only going to try out one episode, make sure you hear THAT one first. Every bit is comedy gold. I would kill to be in the room when they sit around and record these things because they are having fun, and it shows. Wholly B-Jesus! Hooked from the first podcast. Bizarre, outrageous, hysterical. A couple of time I had to actually shut off my iPod because I was about to become a distraction to other people around me!
