“Of course this podcast is good in comparison to most other available podcasts (so far I'd probably rank it 10-15th among the 30-40 podcasts I listen). But something isn't quite right. I think it has to do with the tone - how long can you listen to someone trying to convince another one that something's interesting? For the concept to work we'd need to be able to forget that dynamic, but I could'nt. I heard two people trying really hard to be interesting and smart, and that wasn't always fun. Reply All has become so amazing in the last few months, perhaps Surprisingly Awesome also needs a few months to improve its recipe.”Read full review »
