“I do enjoy the banter between mother and daughter overall and the hilarious interaction with their guests BUT not Lennie’s incessant dismissal of vegans and vegan food. It smacks of pure ignorance and lack of imagination, the latter I know she has re her cooking, from some of the dishes she makes. MANY MANY vegans do not consume animal products FOR the animals,in other words, by not partaking in the demand for meat and dairy by buying into the industry and not simply because it is a healthier life style choice. It is ALL about sentient beings living utterly miserable lives and suffering, only to cruelly murdered for a passing taste sensation. I would suggest for ‘starters’ that Lennie educates herself on the truth behind the dairy industry, so called free range eggs and pigs in restrictive cramped cages…. Stop being speciesist!!”
